The Hiring Protocol

The STL Bio-Compute Collective is not a traditional recruiter. We function as a quality-control filter for SLU Bioinformatics graduates.

How It Works

  1. Browse the Data: Review anonymized profiles filtered by skill (Nextflow, Python, etc.) and Visa status.
  2. Request Interview: Click the button on any candidate profile to connect with us.
  3. The Hand-off: We introduce you to the candidate. You interview them using your own process.

The Commercial Terms

We operate on a Performance-Based model. You pay nothing to interview. You pay nothing to hire. You only pay if the candidate stays.

  • Placement Fee: A flat $4,500 referral fee.
  • Payment Terms: Net 30 from the candidate’s Start Date.
  • The 60-Day Safety Net: If the candidate leaves or is terminated within the first 60 days, we refund 100% of the fee. No questions asked.

Why the Fee?

This fee covers the cost of our Vetting Protocol (Code Review, GitHub Audits, Visa Verification). It ensures that the “Candidate #00X” on your screen has the skills claimed, saving you 20+ hours of screening generic resumes.
